Vandioch, a Sakaari Deathdroid and close friend and comrade of Djex and other notorious outlaws and associates of the infamous ship known as the 'Star Bastard'. Although mechanical and therefore not gender specific by design, he chooses to identify as a male, although has much empathy and identity with many organic female people. Vandioch was originally designed and programmed as a killer and oppressor droid in the old empire, ruled by the House of Sakaarh, which enslaved and oppressed millions of Sakaari citizens. However, like many of his kind, he developed a consciousness as well as a sense of compassion and took part in the historic rebellion which led to the final overthrow of the infamous Sakaarh Empire which has gone down in infamy with Sakaari people of all species as well as with other governments since. The Droid Revolt was a key point in the rebellion and many organic people regard sentient Droids and Cyborgs with mistrust and suspicion. Vandioch is known for his lethal in-built weaponry and it is usually said that only a suicidal idiot would choose to fight him. Considered extremely dangerous to foes, he makes a very good ally if treated with respect. Wanted on many worlds and colonies, he remains feared and hated by many Prosperitan and Peace Fed politicians and regarded with revulsion as well as terror by anti-Droid political extremist groups such as the Yonatists and the Faith Militias.
